Hollis-Jefferson number one in Puerto Rico BSN for week 27

American Forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (201-F-1995) put on an amazing game in the last week for San German, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 27.
The 27-year old player tried to help (31 points, five rebounds and six assists) his team in a lost game to Guaynabo (#5, 14-18) 102-109. San German is placed at 3rd position in Puerto Rican BSN. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. San German will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 18-14 record. In the team's last game Hollis-Jefferson had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at San German, through which he has constantly improved. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson averages this season 19.3ppg, 8.0rpg and 4.1apg.

The second best player in last week's games was young American Melsahn Basabe (206-PF-1992) of Guaynabo. Basabe had a very good evening with a double-double of 25 points and 12 rebounds. Of course Guaynabo cruised to a 109-102 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked San German (#3, 18-14). Guaynabo's 5th position in Group A has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 14-18 record. Basabe is one of the most experienced players at Guaynabo and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last week was American guard Brandon Davis (188-G-2000) of Guayama (#6). Davis showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, six rebounds and eight assists in the last week. Despite Davis' great performance Guayama lost 79-97 to the higher-ranked Arecibo (#1, 22-10). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Guayama can only dream about fighting for top spots in Group A. They have rather bad season and 8-24 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Davis has a very solid season. In 27 games in Puerto Rico he scored 3.4ppg.

9. Benjamin Colon (201-PF-1984) of Quebradillas - 12 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Devon Collier (203-PF-1991) of Arecibo - 12 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
